The game is working after I extract the file for windows

I can't get past the character creator lol no start button to speak of

same thing happens on window

Yes, I was working on a story quest and it basically wouldn't let me go to the area i needed to at first then I restarted, deleted the file re \-extracted the game then proceeded to attempt again, this time critical things for quest completion disappeared, making it impossible to continue any progression

My game keeps me from making progressions when I chose the options for completion of the current part of the story I am in.
